  Tikona Fort Tikona  also known as  Vitandgad ) is the dominant  hill fort  in  Maval  in western India. It is located near  Kamshet  around 60 km from  Pune . The village nearest to the fort is called Tikona-Peth. The 3500 ft high hill is pyramidal in shape and the name Tikona means "triangular". Tikona Fort 🚩 The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', a water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. Trek organisers also commend the views of Pawna dam and the nearby forts of  Tung ,  Lohagad  and  Visapur .   Anjaneri Fort  Anjaneri , one of the forts in the mountain range of  Nasik - Trimbakeshwar , is considered to be the birthplace of god  Hanuman . Anjaneri is located 20 km away from Nasik by Trimbak Road. It has become a famous trekking spot for local Nashikites, specially in the rainy season.  Anjaneri Fort 🚩 Anjaneri is an attraction of Nasik city, which is also an important fort in the  Trimbakeshwar region . Situated at 4,264 feet (1,300 m) above sea level, it lies between  Nasik  and Trimbakeshwar. 🚩 Anjaneri is the birthplace of  Hanuman , and is named after Hanuman's mother, Anjani.   Ratangad Fort  Ratangad  ( Marathi :  रतनगड ) is a  fort  in Ratan Wadi,  Maharashtra ,  India , overlooking the locale of  Bhandardara , one of the oldest artificial catchment area. This fort is located in the  Ahmadnagar  district of  Maharashtra . It is on the boundary of Ahmadnagar and Thane districts. The fort is about 400 years old. This fort is often covered with flowering plants in November. Ratangad is also called  Jewels of the Fort . Ratangad Fort  Ratangad  has a natural rock peak with a cavity in it at the top which is called 'Nedhe' or 'Eye of the Needle'. The fort has four gates Ganesh, Hanuman, Konkan and Trimbak. The sculptures of Lord Ganesh and Hanuman are seen on the main gate. It also has many wells on the top.
